Is this you?
- Horizontal lines have appeared across your forehead, and they no longer disappear when your face relaxes.
- The vertical lines between your brows make you look angry or displeased when you are not.
- Lines at the corners of your eyes stay visible after you stop smiling.
- Your chin dimples or looks uneven when you close your mouth.
- You want the lines softened without losing normal expression.
What anti-wrinkle botulinum toxin treatment does
Botulinum toxin weakens the contraction of the muscles that create facial expression. Injected into those muscles, it is used to smooth the lines that repeated expression has pressed into the skin.
It works on lines that are already visible, and it is also used before lines become established, to stop a habitual expression from setting into a permanent crease.
How much difference it makes, and how long it lasts, varies from person to person.
What we offer
Line-by-line assessment
The dose and the injection points are decided after watching how your face actually moves, rather than by a fixed formula.
Men-only clinic
The clinic treats men only. Men tend to have greater muscle bulk, which can change the dose required.
Weekday evenings
Open until 21:00 on weekdays, so an appointment can be fitted around work.

What the appointment involves
How long it takes
About one hour for the whole face.
How often it is repeated
The effect is not permanent. An interval of roughly three to four months is the usual guide if you wish to continue. Many people start with a single area, see how it feels, and widen the range from there.
Discomfort
This varies between individuals. Some people feel a prickling sensation during the injections.
A note on the forehead
If too much is injected into the forehead, the brows can end up sitting lower than before. The dose is adjusted while watching how your brows move, which is why the assessment is done in person.
Other botulinum toxin treatments at this clinic
Botulinum toxin is used for different purposes depending on which muscle it is injected into. The following are handled on their own pages.

| Blocked nose, runny nose and itchy eyes hay fever |

All prices include tax and are self-pay. Whether a treatment is suitable is decided by the doctor at the consultation.
