Men’s Care Clinic runs an online consultation service for oral medication. The consultation is held by telephone or video call and the medication is posted to you, so there is no need to travel to the clinic. Although the clinic itself treats men only, this online oral medication service is open to women as well.

How online consultation works here

Under the previous rules, seeing a doctor meant attending in person, which was a burden for anyone who found travelling difficult or who had very little free time. Online consultation from the first visit onwards is now permitted, so treatment can be started without taking a day off work or school, and from anywhere in the country.

All you need is a smartphone, or a computer with a camera. There is no waiting-room time.

Medication and pricing

Prices are self-pay. The consultation itself, including advice on daily habits, is free of charge. Which medication is appropriate, and whether it can be prescribed at all, is decided by the doctor at the consultation.

The steps, from booking to delivery

• Book through LINE, or tap to add the clinic as a LINE friend.
• Arrange a date and time for the consultation.
• Once the date is fixed, fill in the medical questionnaire.
• At the appointed time a video call request arrives, and the consultation begins. It can also be held by telephone.
• When the consultation ends, an invoice is sent to the email address you gave.
• Once payment has been confirmed, the medication is posted.
• If you would like the parcel held at a post office for collection, please say so during the consultation.

Packaging can also be arranged so that the contents are not identifiable from the outside. Please mention this at the consultation.

Payment and privacy

Payment is by credit card or bank transfer. VISA, JCB, Mastercard, American Express and Diners Club cards are accepted.

The clinic is entirely self-pay, so there is no need to submit a health insurance card, and no notice of medical charges is sent to your home or your workplace.

Questions we are asked

Can I just buy the medication without a consultation?

No. A consultation with a doctor is required.

This is my first time. What should I do?

Book through LINE. After a full questionnaire and consultation, the doctor will prescribe the oral medication.

I would rather other people did not find out.

Can women use this service?

Yes. The clinic treats men only for in-person care, but this online oral medication service is available to women as well.

Can the medication be sent somewhere other than my home?

Yes. It is sent to the address you registered, and it can also be held at a post office for collection. Please tell us at the consultation if your address has changed or if you would prefer a different delivery arrangement.

Booking and clinic details

Getting here

The clinic is a one-minute walk from the Ginza exit of JR Shimbashi Station, and a one-minute walk from Exit 1 of Shimbashi Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line. Shimbashi is also served by the Toei Asakusa Line and the Yurikamome. The address is Marucho Building 7F-B, 1-8-4 Shimbashi, Minato-ku, Tokyo 105-0004.

Opening hours are 14:00–21:00 on weekdays and 10:00–18:00 on weekends and public holidays. First-time patients are received until 30 minutes before closing, and returning patients until 10 minutes before.
