Q Do you speak English?
A Consultations are conducted in Japanese, and we use translation tools to support English-speaking patients. If you would feel more comfortable with an interpreter or a Japanese-speaking companion, you are welcome to bring one.
Q Can I use Japanese health insurance?
A No. Every treatment on this page is self-pay (jiyu-shinryo). Japanese National Health Insurance and public subsidy programmes do not apply, so you pay the full amount shown.
Q Do I need to bring my insurance card or residence card?
A An insurance card is not required, precisely because these treatments are self-pay. Please bring photo ID. If you are unsure what to bring for your situation, tell us in the booking form and we will confirm before your visit.
Q Will my employer or family find out?
A Because treatment is self-pay, no insurance claim is filed, so no statement of medical expenses is sent to your home or your employer. This is a men-only clinic.
Q How do I pay?
A We accept VISA, JCB, Mastercard, American Express and Diners Club, as well as debit cards and cash.

All prices include tax and are self-pay. How noticeable the effect is, and how quickly it appears, vary from person to person.
The main options in detail
Garlic injection — ¥800
The active component is vitamin B1 (thiamine). There is no garlic in it. The name comes from the smell some people notice at the moment of injection; it is not something other people can detect on you afterwards.
It is most often chosen when tiredness is not lifting, or when sleep does not seem to restore you. Vitamin B1 is a nutrient involved in the process by which the body produces energy from carbohydrate.
A higher-strength version, Garlic Injection W, is ¥1,200. A drip version, Hyper Garlic Drip, is ¥3,500 and is administered more slowly than an injection. Which to choose depends on how much time you have; a doctor will advise.
Placenta injection — ¥490
This contains components extracted from human placenta. It is the most accessible of the injections on the menu by price, and can be taken one ampoule at a time.
Please read before choosing this one
You will not be able to donate blood afterwards. Placenta preparations are classified in Japan as specified biological products, and anyone who receives one is permanently ineligible to donate blood. This follows from how safety is handled for products of this class. If you plan to donate blood, please take this into account before choosing this injection.
High-dose vitamin C drip — ¥5,000 for 10 g
A vitamin C injection is ¥900 and is over quickly. The high-dose drip is for topping up a larger quantity, at ¥5,000 for 10 g. A drip takes longer than an injection, so please allow enough time for your visit.
Depending on your constitution, this may not be suitable for you. Please tell us at the consultation about any medication you take, any allergies, and how you have felt after previous treatments.
Glutathione drip and injection — ¥5,000 / ¥900
These contain glutathione. The injection is ¥900 per ampoule; the drip version is ¥5,000. People come to ask about these when dullness or the tone of the skin is the concern. How much difference is noticed varies from person to person.
The others
- Carnitine injection (¥1,200) — asked about by people who train or exercise regularly.
- Biotin injection (¥500) — biotin is one of the B vitamins. Chosen by people concerned about hair, nails and skin.
- Strong Neo-Minophagen C (¥900) — contains glycyrrhizin among other components. Asked about during periods of frequent drinking, or when liver test values are a concern.

Having a drip on an empty stomach can make you feel unwell. Please have something to eat and drink beforehand.
What to tell us at the consultation
Please tell us what medication you are taking, any long-term conditions, any allergies, and whether an injection or a drip has ever made you feel unwell. Depending on your constitution and your condition on the day, there are cases where treatment cannot be given.

Payment, access and booking
Payment by VISA, JCB, Mastercard, American Express or Diners Club, by debit card, or in cash. These treatments are self-pay and are not covered by Japanese National Health Insurance, so no insurance card is needed and nothing is sent to your home or employer.
Getting here
These injections and drips are given at the Shimbashi clinic. The clinic is a one-minute walk from the Ginza exit of JR Shimbashi Station. Opening hours are 14:00–21:00 on weekdays and 10:00–18:00 on weekends and public holidays. First-time patients are received until 30 minutes before closing, and returning patients until 10 minutes before. Appointments can be made through LINE or the website.

Visiting the clinic
- Book through the online booking form.
- Come to the clinic in Shimbashi (1 minute from the station).
- Fill in the medical questionnaire at reception.
- Consult with a physician.
- Receive testing or treatment, where appropriate.
- Pay at reception by card or cash.

- Complete the online questionnaire in advance. Consultation cannot proceed without it.
- Speak with a physician by phone or video call.
- An invoice is sent to you by email.
- Once payment is complete, medication is posted to you.
Medication is shipped within Japan only. We cannot ship overseas.
