Treatment at Men’s Care Clinic is self-pay (not covered by Japanese national health insurance). At your consultation the doctor prescribes a set number of days’ worth of medication. Paying for a long course all at once is not practical for everyone, so we also offer repeat delivery: we hold the medication the doctor has already prescribed for you at the clinic, and send it out before you run out, with payment due at that point.
How repeat delivery works

Repeat delivery only covers medication that has already been prescribed to you, at the same type and the same dose.
When a new consultation is required
If you want to change the type of medication or increase the dose, that falls outside repeat delivery and a doctor must see you first. This is a prescribing decision, so it cannot be handled as a delivery request.

What is repeat delivery?
It is an arrangement where the clinic holds medication the doctor has already prescribed for you and sends it out before you run out, with payment due at that point, instead of you paying for the whole course at the first visit.
Why does the clinic offer this?
When a doctor prescribes a long course at once, the total payment can be difficult for some patients. Holding the medication and releasing it in portions spreads the cost.
Does repeat delivery need a new consultation?
No. If you are continuing the same medication at the same dose, no new consultation is needed.
I want to change to a different medication. Can that be done as a repeat delivery?
No. Changing the type of medication is a prescribing decision and requires a doctor to see you first.
I want to increase my dose. Can that be done as a repeat delivery?
No. Increasing the dose or the quantity also falls outside repeat delivery and requires a consultation.
Is treatment covered by Japanese health insurance?
No. Treatment at Men’s Care Clinic is self-pay and is not covered by national health insurance.
Can I have the consultation online instead of coming to the clinic?
Yes. Consultations can be carried out online, and medication can be delivered to your home.
