Q Do you speak English?
A Consultations are conducted in Japanese, and we use translation tools to support English-speaking patients. If you would feel more comfortable with an interpreter or a Japanese-speaking companion, you are welcome to bring one.
Q Can I use Japanese health insurance?
A No. Every treatment on this page is self-pay (jiyu-shinryo). Japanese National Health Insurance and public subsidy programmes do not apply, so you pay the full amount shown.
Q Do I need to bring my insurance card or residence card?
A An insurance card is not required, precisely because these treatments are self-pay. Please bring photo ID. If you are unsure what to bring for your situation, tell us in the booking form and we will confirm before your visit.
Q Will my employer or family find out?
A Because treatment is self-pay, no insurance claim is filed, so no statement of medical expenses is sent to your home or your employer. This is a men-only clinic.
Q How do I pay?
A We accept VISA, JCB, Mastercard, American Express and Diners Club, as well as debit cards and cash.

What this is
Oral medication for skin and general use, prescribed by a doctor over a video call and posted to you. Consultation, prescription and delivery happen without you coming in.
Since the rules on remote consultation were relaxed, a first consultation can also be done online. If you have a smartphone, or a computer with a camera, that is all that is needed.
Women are seen for this treatment as well as men.
Pricing
There is no consultation fee, and that includes the advice on daily habits given during the consultation. You pay for the medication and postage only.

How it works, step by step
- Add the clinic on LINE and arrange a time for the consultation
- Fill in the medical questionnaire once the date is set
- At the appointed time a video call request arrives. The doctor sees you by video or by phone
- An invoice is sent to the email address you gave. Pay by card or bank transfer
- Once payment clears, the medication is posted to you
If you would rather collect the parcel from a post office than have it delivered, say so during the consultation. Packaging that does not show what is inside can also be arranged.
What you need to know
This is treated privately, not under national insurance
Treatment here is paid for privately. You are not asked for a health insurance card, and because no claim is made, nothing about the treatment is sent to your home or your employer by an insurer.
A consultation is required. Medication cannot be bought on its own
These are prescription medicines. A doctor has to see you and take a history before anything is prescribed, including on a repeat order.
Side effects
Any medicine can cause side effects. Stomach upset, nausea, loss of appetite and rash are the ones reported most often with these preparations. Tell the doctor at the consultation about every medicine and supplement you already take, and about any clotting disorder, kidney or liver condition, or pregnancy. Stop the medication and contact the clinic if something is not right.
Coming as an English speaker
The consultation can be held in English. You do not need a residence card or a health insurance card. If you would prefer to be seen in person rather than online, the clinic is one minute from JR Shimbashi Station, and one stop from Ginza.

Paying
Credit card (VISA, JCB, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club), debit card, or bank transfer. Cash at the clinic if you come in.
Getting here — Shimbashi and Ginza
The clinic is in Shimbashi, one minute on foot from JR Shimbashi Station, and one stop from Ginza on the Ginza Line. Consultations run late, to 21:00 on weekdays, so a visit after work is possible if you would rather be seen in person.

Visiting the clinic
- Book through the online booking form.
- Come to the clinic in Shimbashi (1 minute from the station).
- Fill in the medical questionnaire at reception.
- Consult with a physician.
- Receive testing or treatment, where appropriate.
- Pay at reception by card or cash.
Online consultation
- Book through the online booking form.
- Complete the online questionnaire in advance. Consultation cannot proceed without it.
- Speak with a physician by phone or video call.
- An invoice is sent to you by email.
- Once payment is complete, medication is posted to you.
Medication is shipped within Japan only. We cannot ship overseas.
