Fat-Dissolving Injections in Tokyo for Men | Double Chin and Belly | Men’s Care Clinic

Is this you?

Men’s Care Clinic treats men only. The Shimbashi clinic is a one-minute walk from JR Shimbashi Station, and a fat-dissolving injection takes about ten minutes. People come to us with concerns like these.

  • Your chin area or a double chin bothers you in photographs and in the mirror.
  • There is one particular area, such as your waist, that you would like to reduce.
  • You want to avoid surgery involving a scalpel.
  • Diet and exercise have not changed the areas you are most concerned about.
  • You would rather not go to a cosmetic clinic aimed at women.

What a fat-dissolving injection is

A doctor injects a product directly under the skin of the area you are concerned about. The aim is to reduce the fat in that area. It is used for areas that are said to be difficult to reduce through diet and exercise, and the purpose is to reshape one part of the body rather than to lose weight overall. Whether it is suitable for you, how much is injected and how many sessions are advised are decided by the doctor after examining you.

Areas it is used for

The area under the chin, including a double chin, is the one we are asked about most often, because it makes the jawline look less defined. The abdomen, including the flanks and the lower abdomen, is used for the parts that are said to be hard to reduce through diet and exercise. The back, the upper arms and the thighs can also be discussed. Whether an area is suitable, and how many sessions are advised, is decided by the doctor at the consultation.

No incision is involved

Because the treatment is given by injection alone, no incision and no hospital stay are required. The whole visit including the consultation takes about thirty minutes, and the injection itself about ten. You can go about your normal day from the same day, and a visible scar is said to be unlikely, though this varies from person to person.

5–20 cc, such as the abdomen 10–20 cc ¥7,000 per cc

All prices include tax and the treatment is self-pay. The volume needed differs according to the area and its condition, so the total is explained at the consultation. How this compares with liposuction and with medical weight loss

There is more than one way to approach body fat. Surgical liposuction reduces the fat in an area, and oral medical weight-loss treatment aims at body weight itself. The purpose and the burden on the body are different in each case, so which one fits depends on what you want to achieve. Please note that this clinic does not perform liposuction.

Fat-dissolving injection Liposuction Medical weight loss (oral)
Purpose reshaping one area a large reduction in one area reducing body weight overall
Degree of change gradual large depends on how long it is continued
Burden on the body injection only, with topical anaesthetic if needed surgery, under general or intravenous anaesthesia oral medication only
Downtime short; swelling and bruising for a few days longer, including compression garments none
Number of sessions divided over several sessions usually one taken continuously
Available here yes, this page not offered yes, medical weight loss

This comparison describes general tendencies. Suitability and risk in your case are decided by the doctor at the consultation, and the result and the degree of change vary from person to person.

Downtime and aftercare

What can occur Roughly how long
Swelling, puffiness, redness and reduced sensation about 1 to 3 days
Firmness or a lumpy feeling in the treated area can appear from 1 to 2 weeks afterwards
Redness and warmth at the needle marks redness 2 to 7 days; warmth 2 to 3 days
Bruising can remain for several days

What you can do from the same day

Washing your face, showering and going back to work are all possible as usual from the same day.

What to avoid for two weeks

Please avoid heat, including soaking in a bath, saunas and hot packs. Please also avoid rubbing the treated area hard or massaging it.

How strong these effects are and how long they last vary from person to person. If anything concerns you, please contact the clinic rather than deciding what to do on your own.

How the visit works

Step 1 — Booking

Book through LINE or the website. Even first-time patients can sometimes be treated on the same day.

Step 2 — Consultation

The doctor examines the area you are concerned about and explains whether the injection can be given, the volume and number of sessions advised, and the cost. This is the point at which to raise anything you are unsure about. The consultation is ¥0.

Step 3 — Treatment, injection about 10 minutes

With your consent, the injection is given on the same day or on another day. A topical anaesthetic, charged separately, is available for those worried about pain. The whole visit takes about thirty minutes.

Step 4 — Aftercare

We explain how to spend the days that follow and what to be careful about. Please contact us if anything concerns you.

Questions we are asked

How much does it cost?

Per cc, ¥8,000 for under 5 cc, such as the chin area, and ¥7,000 for 5 to 20 cc, such as the abdomen. The first-time campaign price is ¥4,000 per cc, and the consultation is ¥0. Because the volume needed differs by area, the total is explained at the consultation.

How long does it take?

The injection takes about ten minutes, and the whole visit including the consultation about thirty.

How many sessions will I need?

The treatment is normally divided over several sessions, with a small amount each time. The number advised depends on the area and its condition, and the doctor explains this at the consultation.

Does it hurt?

A fine needle is used, but you may feel the injection. A topical anaesthetic is available on request and is charged separately.

Can I go back to work the same day?

Yes. Washing your face, showering and working are all possible as usual from the same day. Baths, saunas and hot packs should be avoided for two weeks.

Do you offer liposuction?

No. This clinic does not perform liposuction. If your aim is to reduce body weight overall rather than to reshape one area, medical weight-loss treatment may be the better fit, and we can discuss that at the consultation.

Do I need to speak Japanese?

Consultations are conducted in Japanese. If you are not confident in Japanese, please let us know when you book so that we can tell you what to expect.

Will my family or my employer find out?

No. Because the treatment is self-pay and no health insurance is used, no notice of medical expenses is sent to your home or your workplace.
